Velvet smooth as their type is known for, this fantasy even looks like they could be wrapped in velvet, or perhaps should be seated in a velvet cushion attended to by servants wearing silk gloves. A base of crisp, rich red forms the canvas on which a spiderlike pattern of royal blue lines are etched like blue blooded veins. Imperial purple eyes only add to their haughty appearance.

And haughty they are, they're hot shit and better than you and they know it. Who cares about where society has rank them, in their mind, they are royalty, and there's nothing they love so much as consorting with others befitting their station. Look them up sometime darling, have your people call their people, and we'll do lunch. Need somebody with a silver tongue (or in this case, also Imperial purple) to seal a few business deals for you? This self-assured charmer knows how to get what they want, and how to get rid of those that don't want to give it to them.

A lavender base is patterned by a row of concentric green diamonds on their back, set in a neat row point-to-point from the tip of their snout to the tip of their tail. This Mirage is a little chunkier than your standard serpent, but nothing unhealthy. Their eyes are only a slightly darker shade of lilac than the rest of their skin, and view the world with a bald skepticism.

Because as the saying goes, seeing is believing, and frankly they are unlikely to believe anything must they can see with their own eyes — or yours, you'll be very useful for confirming theories, hypotheses, rumors and the like. They'll have hands, after all, so they can make use of you, they will. They have no compunctions about this, and if you ever express offense at them popping in to borrow your gaze, they'd be quite surprised. It's simply practical, what is how you feel about it have to do with anything? Nonetheless, they are mostly benign, and don't intend to cause anyone any distress, they just aren't good at boundaries. Mental or physical. Will happily slither in the neighbor's window if they want to check something out. What, why are you screaming, come now they're just investigating the source of the leak your Cat told them about, they don't care that you're naked in a bath towel. Be logical.
